Introduction
Global Projects is a fictitious organization with a website that is constructed using "pure CSS" to format and control the page layout and appearance. The website contains two types of demonstration pages: a two-column format as seen here and a one-column format that is demonstrated on some of the other sample pages.
The primary navigation makes use of a "dropdown" menu bar. The "Process" section contains an overview page and three child pages to illustrate the function and appearance of a dropdown menu. The other sections contain only one page and, therefore, do not show a dropdown on the menu. However, more of the sections of a site constructed using the method demonstrated could have child pages with dropdowns on the menu. The technique that I used only allows for one sub-menu level.
The pages contain a "breadcrumb" trail that allows for easy navigation back to the parent level and lets you know where you are in the navigation scheme of the site.
Each page also contains at least one photo or other graphical image. The photos were taken on a vacation in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The only editing of the photos was to reduce them to a size that could easily be incorporated into one of the pages on this site.
This site has been tested in Firefox 2 and Internet Explorer 7 running under Windows XP. If any pages do not appear to be displaying correctly on your system, please use the contact form on my parent website to let me know about the problem. Be sure to include the operating system and version and the browser name and version in your message.
